[UPITT/CMU] The Hispanic Heritage Month Artifact Showcase

Hi,

Please participate if you are interested or share it with other members of the Latinx community who might be interested. See below.

"What does it mean to be Hispanic/Latina/e/o/x in the United States? For those of us who identify with these terms we often ask ourselves this question, while non-Latin American, Hispanic, Latina, Latine, Latino, or Latinx individuals also wonder what these terms mean.

The purpose of this showcase is to help address this question by inviting all members of the Pitt & CMU community and Pittsburgh community at-large to submit artifacts relevant to aspects of their Hispanic/Latina/o/e/x racial, ethnic, and cultural identity. These identities include people with origins (historic and more recent) in Latin American regions from North America to México, Central America, South America, and the Caribbean. To be Hispanic/Latina/e/o/x in the United States means many things, so we encourage submissions regardless of race, ethnicity, birthplace, immigration story, language(s) spoken and more."
