Meddeas Language Assistant Programme: Teaching Experience in Spain

Somos una empresa española, con sede en Pamplona, que se especializa en la prestación de Language Assistants angloparlantes a colegios privados de toda España.

 

Desde 2011 ofrecemos a seniors y recién graduados la oportunidad de participar en un programa de prácticas en el que, durante un semestre o un año académico completo, cumplen el papel de Language Assistants mientras que reciben una remuneración mensual. No tienen que pagar ninguna tarifa, y tampoco se requiere ni experiencia laboral ni estudios previos de español. Aquellos alumnos con un planteamiento internacional y estudios relacionados con la docencia o el español podrían estar especialmente interesados en este programa, porque pueden crecer profesionalmente a través del ambiente de un aula de verdad, y también adquirir nuevas habilidades al estar inmersos en una cultura y un sistema educativo diferentes. Es una buena oportunidad para que crezcan como personas y para que mejoren su fluidez en el idioma.

 

Buscamos la excelencia y realizamos nuestros servicios de forma responsable y económicamente sostenible. Miles de participantes han completado con éxito nuestros programas y ahora están más preparados para triunfar como ciudadanos en un mundo cada vez más global.

Alison Zapata is a Pittsburgh-born, second generation Mexican-American visual artist and art educator. Her expertise lies in painting, murals, collage, and sign painting. She is the owner/lead artist of Zapata Studios. Her murals can be seen throughout Pittsburgh in Squirrel Hill, the South Side and Lawrenceville. She recently created social media content based on the movie Coco for Disney/Pixar. She has studied dine art/art education at Carlow University and a teaching artist certificate at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. She has exhibited her work with Aqui at the Capitol Building in Harrisburg and the Susquehanna Museum of Art in Harrisburg through the invitation of State Rep Leslie Acosta as part of Latino Heritage Month. She has participated in the Fulbright Hayes Group Project abroad Art and Society: Brazil/U.S. Educational Partnership. Alison has received art education training through Gateway to the Arts, Pittsburgh Center for the Arts, Penn State, Lincoln Center's Aesthetic Education, and Wolf Trap Institute. She is a resident artist in the Artists-in-Communities program through the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts. is a member of the #notwhite Collective.

Since 2006, Zapata Studios creates eye-catching and vibrant murals for brand building and beautification as an active force for good in the community and for business. Alison Zapata paints murals, hand-painted signs, and logos for businesses, communities, and private residences.

 

 

#LatinoPittsburgh Digital Speaker Series is an initiative of the Pittsburgh Metropolitan Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. It's goals are to share relevant information, inspire growth and foster opportunity.

Speakers include community leaders and member as well as other individuals who have a positive impact not only on the Hispanic community, but Pittsburgh as a region.

Senior Recital Invite

Senior recital is happening May 6th at 3pm at the Alumni Concert Hall in CFA. I will be playing 4 pieces which one of them includes Histoire du Tango by Astor Piazzolla! I really hope you can make it!
