Your Vote is Your Voice

3 Easy Steps to Make Your Voice Heard

  1. Check here to verify your registration and to ensure your location hasn't changed, especially if you registered to vote at your home address.
  2. Decide which voting option you prefer:
    • Vote-by-Mail —At this point, it is recommended that you turn your ballot in person, rather than mailing it. You may continue to drop off your mail-in ballot in person until November 3 at 5 p.m, If you do mail it, it must be postmarked by 8 p.m. on November 3 and received by 5 p.m. on Friday, November 6.
      • Pennsylvania sends out an extra "secrecy" envelope with all its mail ballots. If voters forget to include that envelope when they return their ballots — an error that's being termed a "naked ballot" — their votes will be automatically void. So, once you've carefully filled out your ballot, put it first in the included secrecy envelope, and then put that envelope in the return envelope. Then sign the outside envelope and send it back as soon as possible. Here's a fun video with celebrities to show you how.
      • You can track your ballot here.

·       In-person Tuesday, November 3rd voting — find your poll location here.

3.             Pennsylvania voters are usually not required to show identification at the polling place.  Voters must show identification only if they are voting for the first time or if they have not previously voted in their current election district. Check out additional rules or requirements about voting here.
