SALSA Weekly 8/21

Hello everyone!

We hoped that this email finds you well, and you enjoyed your summer break. Welcome back to CMU :)

We have planned many (remote) events for the upcoming school year, and we are so excited!

There will be an event this week on Wednesday. We will be partnering we SHPE, so please be sure to join us at 6-7 PM EST! We will be sending out the details in the next few days. If you are not in our GroupMe contact us to keep up with our updates!

In addition, as one of the leaders of the Hispanic community at CMU, we want to reassure everyone of our stance on this injustice, and offer support and resources to everyone. We stand with the Black and African American community of CMU, Pittsburgh, the US, and beyond. We support each and everyone of you during this time. Again, feel free to reach out to any of us if you need anything--to talk, to vent, to listen, to understand. Tonight SPIRIT will be hosting a solidarity event from 9:30-10:30 P.M.

Here's the link for tonight's event: https://cmu.zoom.us/j/99633020816?pwd=UExYRUhCeEhVNTgwYkRXd0dCcXRjQT09

Passcode: spirit

Remember, we support each and every one of you during this time. Again, feel free to reach out to any of us if you need anything--to talk, to vent, to listen, to understand.
