Announcements

Hola a todos,

Hope everyone is enjoying the long weekend. Winter is fast approaching, so be sure to stay warm. As usual, we have our weekly announcements for you.

Freshman Representatives: We'd like to congratulate our two new freshman representatives! Jackie Godinez and Kate Liston will be the representatives for the rest of the academic year. Congrats!

SALSA House: SALSA might get our own house! We are very excited about this and we hope you are too because we can't get it without your help! Please fill out this form. The process for acquiring a house has already begun, but need to show housing and CMU that there are people who are interested in having a space, living in the house, and we need to tell them why having a space on campus is necessary. It's very important. If you have any questions about this, please don't hesitate to ask.

Latin Dance Lessons: Don't forget about the Latin Dance Lessons! They are still going on! If you can make it, be sure to stop by. For more details, be sure to look at the poster below.

Social Media! Lastly, don't forget to follow us on social media. :)

Groupme: If you're not in the groupme, fill out this form so we can add you.

Saludos,

Hannah

Seeking Your Voice on Diversity Admission: The Center for Diversity and Inclusion will be hosting an event and would like to reach out to SALSA and our members. Please keep reading their description of the event!

We would like to invite members of  SALSA, and any other CMU students you know, to a discussion on the efforts that Carnegie Mellon has in place to bring in underrepresented populations. We want to speak on how you as students can further help the efforts in place, and open the floor to any ideas you have to add to the ongoing conversation. The university is committed to a diverse campus and we want to make sure we utilize all of our resources including our current students to ensure we are continuously working towards that idea. Please attend. Learn what else there is to do and let your voice be heard!
