Tomorrow--Presentation: Immigrants and Human Dignity by Sister Janice!

Presentation

Sister Janice Vanderneck, Director of Civic Engagement for Casa San José, will speak in my HIST 0501 class, Modern Latin America. Her talk will be entitled “Immigrants and Human Dignity” and will consider current political and policy debates in the US concerning immigration. She will speak on Wednesday, November 29, 10:00-10:45 AM, in G24 Cathedral. Her talk is open to the public. 
 
Sister Janice was the founding Director of Casa San José, a community resource center that advocates for and empowers Latinos by promoting integration and self-sufficiency. She is currently Director of Civic Engagement for the organization. I attach a photo of her below.
