Annoucements

Hola a todos,

Lots of exciting things coming up!

The Pink Party is Tonight! Here's the link to the Facebook event. It will be from 8:30pm-11:30pm at the SPIRIT House. Even if you can't stay for the whole event, be sure to stop by! See poster attached below.

SALSA House: SALSA might get our own house! We are very excited about this and we hope you are too because we can't get it without your help! Please fill out this form. The process for acquiring a house has already begun, but need to show housing and CMU that there are people who are interested in having a space, living in the house, and we need to tell them why having a space on campus is necessary. It's very important. If you have any questions about this, please don't hesitate to ask.

Seeking Your Voice on Diversity Admission: The Center for Diversity and Inclusion will be hosting an event and would like to reach out to SALSA and our members. Please keep reading their description of the event!

We would like to invite members of  SALSA, and any other CMU students you know, to a discussion on the efforts that Carnegie Mellon has in place to bring in underrepresented populations. We want to speak on how you as students can further help the efforts in place, and open the floor to any ideas you have to add to the ongoing conversation. The university is committed to a diverse campus and we want to make sure we utilize all of our resources including our current students to ensure we are continuously working towards that idea. Please attend. Learn what else there is to do and let your voice be heard!

November 7th 5pm in the Center for Diversity and Inclusion

FIRST Together Thanksgiving Dinner: There will be an event around Thanksgiving time in recognition of first generation students. Check out the flyer below for all the necessary info. If you have any questions, contact Lucia or Bianca at the Center for Diversity and Inclusion.

Saludos,

Hannah
