about Hispanic Heritage Month

A very, very brief, non-scholarly introduction (one version in Spanish, another in English) to the "Hispanic" presence in what became the U.S. going all the way back to 1513, apropos Hispanic Heritage Month. In it I offer a super cursory look at just a few publications from the twentieth century, but will address earlier texts in the next contribution, around mid October.

I am also featuring a day-by-day, bilingual, dual post review of information of this nature on the Latin American Cultural Union Facebook page (I am the Co-President of that non-profit organization).
