She currently serves as a leader for the Next Generation Council through Vibrant Pittsburgh, a Board Member and Membership Chair for the Pittsburgh Metropolitan Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. In 2019 Vazquez was elected to serve on the Equal Opportunity Review Committee on behalf of the Mayor's office.
