SALSA Weekly Email 4/29

 

I hope everyone had a refreshing Carnival week!

 

Here are our upcoming events and some ways to get more involved with SALSA:

 

1. This Friday, Gian Seixas will be leading his Cena a las Seis! Make sure to hear his stories and eat some good food. Held over Zoom at 6pm. RSVP here for your food to be reimbursed!

 

3. Join us to send off the end of the semester at our end of year GBM on Wednesday April 28th! Will be on Zoom.

 

5. Come to wish out Seniors farewell at the Senior Goodbye Dinner on Wednesday May 5th. Lets have fun and send off our seniors with a celebration! Held on Zoom.

 

Getting Involved:

 

1. Would you be interested in helping us set up a website? We are hoping to post the BIPOC Literary journal online and need your help to get it up and running! No prior experience making websites required, if interested, reach out to Melina, our Internal Outreach Chair, at mcastill@andrew.cmu.edu.

2.Would you like to draw  a quick illustration for the BIPOC journal? We are looking for a few people to make quick doodles about some of the stories in the journal. Reach out to Melina at  mcastill@andrew.cmu.edu for more information.
