SALSA Weekly 9/8

Welcome back to campus everyone! I hope everyone's first few weeks have been going smoothly. Here's our upcoming schedule of events:

 

1. September 15th, we will be at the Activities Fair from 4:30-6:30. Come by for candy or to chit chat!

 

2. On September 16th come join us for our Intro GBM at 6:30!

 

3. SALSA has been invited to the Latine Hispanic Heritage Month Festival at Pitt on Sunday September 18th. This should be a really fun festival with latinos from our neighboring colleges showing up!

 

4. Join us on October 8th in celebrating Noche Latina as part of Hispanic Heritage Month! There will be food provided by a local Hispanic/Latine vendor, music performed by a local Latine band, Gavas Beats, games to play, and dance lessons to try!

 

We'll send more information as we get closer to each event. There may also be some shuffling of the schedule, as the Activities Fair was originally going to be on the 8th however was recently postponed until the 15th.
