Invitation to Modern Languages sponsored screening of Everything Everywhere All at Once

Please join us next Tuesday, February 27th, for a screening of last year's Oscar winner for best picture, Everything Everywhere All at Once. This film is a bizarre but addictive mash up of family-drama-meets-the-multiverse; it's an action packed thriller that is funny, poignant, dizzying, dazzling, and politically relevant.

Tuesday, February 27

6:00 PM

McConomy Auditorium in the University Center

Free and open to the public

At this screening Kathy Newman's Fall '23 "Intro to Critical Writing" class will be unveiling a website of critical writing that the class created about the film. At this site you'll be able to read about the real life Physics implications of the film, the important differences between the Mandarin/Cantonese dialogue in the film and the English subtitles, how the movie seems to reflect the critic Jack Halberstam's notion of the "Queer Art of Failure" and so much, more!
