| Plans to re-open Havana and Córdoba for Fall semester! For more than a year, we have been monitoring the situations in both Córdoba, Argentina and Havana, Cuba and we are now confident that our Fall study abroad programs can run there. Our university partners in each location have given us reassurance and plan to be running "normal" school years. They look forward to hosting international students. In Havana, we re-open with our partners at the Universidad de la Habana. The starting date is September 2, 2022 (arrival) and departure is on December 10 (Spanish Studies) or December 17 (for students that take an "integrated" class at the univeristy). Students stay with homestay families and share meals with them. The registration deadline is April 15. We realize that many colleges have earlier deadlines but we wish to offer the most flexibility possible. Havana challenges students' perspectives and offers a vibrant cultural scene, warm weather and welcoming people! The Córdoba Fall study abroad session begins on July 9, 2022 (arrival) and ends on December 3 (departure). The deadline to finalize applications is May 15 but be sure to check when your campus has its deadlines. Our students will study at the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba and stay with homestay families. Students may take a Summer-only language program as well, starting July 9. Córdoba, while a large and bustling metropolis, is the gateway to great outdoor adventures. It is also a great immersion destination - our students' Spanish proficiency shows dramatic improvement. |
