Being Hispanic Should Not Be A Death Sentence | Save a Child's Life Today | #LatinoPittsburgh Digital Speaker Series

LIVE @ 12 pm TODAY, March 16 on Facebook

Join us today at 12 pm live with Melissa Ramirez, as she shares how being Hispanic lowers his chance of survival by nearly 40% when compared to other children with his condition, IPEX, and how you can give Jax a chance to live with a simple mouth swab and blood draw (if you are a match).

The conversation will take place LIVE on our Facebook Page at 12pm but may be streamed following the event. It will be followed by a Q&A Session. The video may be viewed following the event.

Don't have Facebook? We are now streaming on YOUTUBE and LinkedIn as well.

Jax Ramirez is a bubbly, happy boy despite living in a bubble since being diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in 2017 and recently IPEX, an extremely rare genetic disorder affecting one in 1.5 million people.

If you are between 18-40 and would like to register text"JAX" to 61474 and a swab kit will be sent to your home. It is an easy cheek swab and you could be someone's hero!
