Join Javier Ávila for his one-man show, The Trouble with My Name, as he tells his life story and examines the issues of language, race, and social justice through an eye-opening performance. The Trouble with My Name will make audiences laugh, cry, and embrace the autobiographical journey of a man who moves between cultures to provide a fascinating perspective of American Latinos who struggle to dispel misconceptions about their identity and place in the world. Note: There will be no food allowed during the event and we encourage all guests to eat before or after the event.
