Description
Director, speaker, and activist, Eduardo Chavez, grandson of civil rights activist Cesar Chavez and Cuban revolutionary Max Lesnik, will be joined by scholar-activist- educators to discuss how they use film, social media, and podcasts as media for advocacy and activism with and for the Latinx community. Panelists will discuss contemporary issues such as immigration, worker rights, and intersectional activism within the Latinx diaspora. They will also address the complicated legacy of Cesar Chavez.
