Immigrant Nation!: The Battle For The Dream

The 2012 Carnegie Mellon International Film Festival: Faces of Others is proud to sponsor the 2009 American documentary, Immigrant Nation!: The Battle For The Dream, at this week’s Building Change Film Festival!  The film will be showcased this Saturday, October 15, at 4.30pm at Point Park University’s GRW Theatre!

“The United States is a country that has been built by immigrants, which is a reality that has been happening generation after generation, happening around the world since the beginning of humankind. Some leave, others seek refuge and others simply go in search of a new life. Yet, here in Immigrant Nation!: The Battle for the Dream, we see another reality, where the ‘American Dream’ is not within the reach of all.”  -Esaú Meléndez, Director

The film screening is FREE and open to the public, with a suggested donation of $5.  The Building Change Film Festival is organized by the Three Rivers Community Foundation. You can view the festival’s full film schedule at
