Hispanic Heritage Month in celebration @ SAVOY

PITTSBURGH METROPOLITAN AREA HISPANIC CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND ALPFA JOINS FORCES TO CELEBRATE HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH

 

WHAT:  Hispanic Heritage Month in celebration and recognition of the economic, cultural and social contributions of millions of Latinos living in the United States and the many thousands in the Pittsburgh area.

WHO: First collaborative event by ALPFA Pittsburgh and Pittsburgh Metropolitan Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Pittsburgh’s two leading Latino Professional organizations.

WHEN:  Tuesday, October 4th from 6pm-12midnight.

WHERE:  SAVOY in the Strip District.

WHY:  Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated –in recognition of the multiple contributions of Hispanics to our society and culture- throughout the country between September 15^th and October 15^th, every year. This year, Pittsburgh will be celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month in style. The celebration will have plenty of Latino flair with a Latin music DJ, a special drink menu, a raffle & more.

The event was made possible by the generosity of Comcast, PNC Bank and Savoy. Proceeds will benefit the Hispanic Chamber Scholarship Fund and ALPFA Foundation Scholarship Fund. 

Tickets can be purchased in advance for $20 and include one drink and Latin-inspired appetizers from 6-8pm. Tickets will also be available at the door for $25.
