Complex migration motivations: Venezuelan pathways in Latin America and the Caribbean   Jan. 17, 2024, 1:30 - 4 PM EST Hybrid   Join CERC Migration for our upcoming Scholars of Excellence workshop. The January meeting explores Venezuelan migration motivation and pathways through comparative insights, bringing together papers focusing on very different countries: Chile and Argentina, two traditional migration destinations in South America, and Small Island Developing States (SIDS) of the southern Caribbean including Trinidad & Tobago, Aruba, Curacao and Guyana which have been transformed through Venezuelan migration in the last decade. The workshop is co-convened by Shiva S. Mohan, Research Fellow, and Anna Triandafyllidou, CERC Migration Chair, Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU).
