2 - Carnegie Mellon International Film Festival
The Carnegie Mellon International Film Festival is an event that focuses on developing understanding of cultural commonalities through film.
As part of the city-wide celebration, Romero Lives!, their first event will feature the film, Good Manners. It is a Brazilian, horror film directed by Juliana Rojas and Marco Dutra. A short description can be found below:
Clara, a lonely nurse, is hired by the mysterious and wealthy Ana to be the nanny of her soon to be born child. The two women develop a strong bond, but a fateful night marked by a full moon changes their plans.

The event will be on November 2nd at 6:30pm in McConomy Auditorium.

3 - Latina Equal Pay Day
The Labor Council for Latin American Advancement (LCLAA), Latino Community Center of Pittsburgh (LCC), and the Women and Girls Foundation will be having a rally November 1st at 11:54am in Schenley Plaza. It will be a memorial for Dia de los Muertos as well as a rally for equality in pay. More information is available on the flyer below:

Vibrant Pittsburgh is an organization dedicated to making Pittsburgh a more welcoming and comfortable place for people of all diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
