HACU will be here on Tuesday 2/24 for an information session to discuss their internship program.
The HACU National Internship Program (HNIP) http://www.hacu.net/hacu/HNIP.asp is seeking applicants for the summer 2015 internship session. HNIP provides students the opportunity to receive valuable work experience through paid internships with federal agencies and private corporations. This ten-week summer and fifteen-week fall program includes paid round-trip airfare, housing arrangement assistance, emergency medical insurance and an orientation in Washington, D.C., or the city of their internship. Students also participate in a wide range of professional development, social and cultural activities. If you're interested, come by Hamburg Hall Room 1003 from 12-1:15 pm on Tuesday, February 24th to learn about the application progress and what qualities and skills the HACU National Internship Program seeks in their future interns. Come hear about past intern experiences and what kind of federal government agencies and private corporations we partner with. I'll also be discussing potential scholarship opportunities and ways to win trips to our conferences throughout the year. I'm here to thoroughly discuss the HACU National Internship Program with you, and answer any questions you may have.
NOTE: the internship deadline is February 27, 2015.
