Cita con el misterio

Students from the 82-345 course on the Hispanic/Latin@ Detective Genre
will start airing a short segment on WRCT which we have called "Cita
con el misterio" (or an appointment/date with mystery). This will
happen during the Spanish Radio Hour ("Barrio Latino"), Thursdays
6-7pm, starting tomorrow and continuing through the end of classes
(except for Thanksgiving). The program can be listened to on the radio
(88.3 FM) or online at wrct.org.

In the segment of "Cita con el misterio", students will be offering a
dramatic reading (in its original Spanish) of a short detective text
written by a Hispanic/Latin@ writer, and offering a bit of context
about the writer, the place where the story takes place, etc. They will
be prepared to answer questions from the Barrio Latino crew and/or from
listeners about the story or its elements.
