Sor Juana's poetry put to music this Sunday!

This coming Sunday, April 30th, the following program, Sanctuary, will be featuring sonnets by Mexican Nun Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz whose machine and human translations from Spanish to English I retranslated and rewrote. This concert is presented by local Argentinian mezzo-soprano Raquel Winnica Young, Mexican lute and guitar player Dieter Hennings-Yeomans, and American actress Daina Griffith, who will read/interpret the English-translations. The concert is free. Donations are welcome.
