Hola amigos!

We hope that you are finishing the last two weeks of classes strongly! Please remember that we are having our end of the year GBM event and our Diversity BBQ next week.

 

Please also note that our Diversity BBQ has been postponed one week to May 3rd.

 

SALSA EVENTS:

Event: Diversity BBQ

Date: May 3rd, 5:00pm-8:00pm

Location: Donner Ditch, Rain Location TBD

About: Join us for an evening of games, music, dancing, and food with ALLIES, BLBA, SHPE, SPIRIT, SENATE, and FEMME.

 

Event: End of the Year GBM

Date: May 1st, 4:30-6pm

Location: Donner Ditch

About: We will be eating catered food and tye-dying t-shirts outside at this last GBM! Come join us and relax before the coming week of finals.

Event: Transition to College Class with Latino Community Center

Event: Aspirnwall Riverfront Park Benefit's Havana Nights

Date/Time: May 24th, 2019 at 7pm

Location: Aspinwall Riverfront Park

About: See attached flyer. Noel Quintana is a local latino artist.

Event: Beta Boxes

About: Omega Phi Beta cultural sorority is selling boxes for move out. Move information can be found in the attached flyer.

 

Event: Volunteer Opportunity with Casa San Jose

About: Casa San Jose is launching a door knocking campaign in Beechview and East Liberty next month. This campaign will go door to door in these neighborhoods educating residents on how to safely respond to ICE, and how to support your immigrant neighbors when ICE comes.  They need 100 canvassers -- please register to get trained here: bit.ly/CasaKnocks.
