Beautiful weather, World Fair Trade Day and Cinco de Mayo mean that there's a lot of fun music this weekend, including us! We're on twice this Saturday, May 9:

Café Con Leche uses food to build community. It is a place for the Pittsburgh Latino community to connect, promote Latino culture in Pittsburgh and be a safe space for dialogue and creative problem solving.
The name, Café con Leche (coffee with milk in Spanish) refers to the Puerto Rican tradition of serving coffee to household guests.

La Escuelita Arcoiris—Summer Internships
La Escuelita Arcoiris, Pittsburgh's only Spanish immersion pre-school, is offering two summer internship experiences, both 3 months in duration (May-July), 10-15 hours per week. Applicants should be professional and organized. Please submit cover letter and resume to contactanos@laescuelitapgh.org.
Social Media Intern:
Enhance and expand Escuelita's social media and online presence. Primary responsibilities: manage and update Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn and other social media forums. Post themes may include daily school activities, Latin American holidays, school announcements, etc. Creativity is encouraged! Other responsibilities may include editing and updating our website, assisting with bulk mailings, and helping us reach out to community partners to share news and event information.
Administrative Intern:
This person will work side by side the Administrative Assistant on a variety of projects, including database entry/management, preparing mailings, running errands, filing and organizing, creating binders, handbooks and brochures, shredding paper, returning phone calls, etc. A great opportunity for a student in business, communication, education or Spanish with an interest in non-profit management.
